juna-lu asked: would you ever consider selling a print of Pressure Point? I think it's absolutely brilliant, and I'd love to support your talent... is that what they call it when you buy an artists work, or a print of an artists work?
Absolutely. I have started selling prints online at Society6.com. You can visit my profile here at Society6: http://society6.com/musingmayhem
Pressure Point is not currently up yet, but I will be uploading it sometime this week as soon as I get it scanned. Please check back in a few days!
A big thanks to my new and old followers and all of you Sherlock fans out there. Your receptiveness and enthusiasm is what makes me love doing all of this Sherlock art, and I am very grateful for your support. Many thanks!
Pressure Point - Sherlock art by MLH musingmayhem
Last night working! Pressure point
bowties-holmes-hunter asked: My word your art.... It's just breath taking every time I'm in love with the style and stokes and in whole it's stunning. I just love it <3
Thank you! I really appreciate it. I like playing around with different styles, hopefully doing better every time. Thanks again!
Resolute - Sherlock/His Last Vow.
This scene speaks to me, so much so that I had to paint it. He only has one option to uphold his vow to his best friend, and right or wrong, he remains resolute in that decision. Perhaps not a hero, but loyal nonetheless. And for a friend to do that for you is heroic, in my opinion. Wonderful television!
Through the Dark - Sherlock digital painting. Ok. I might need an intervention. I work about 70 hours a week and yet I’m finding time for all this Sherlock. Other art on its way… The hobbit, portrait studies, tattoo designs.
The Slayer’s Sacrifice - just some fun with iPad fingerprinting and a bit of inspiration from Sherlock and His Last Vow. Still finishing my latest Sherlock graphite drawing, as well as another digital painting of The Hobbit!
Pressure Point. Will be done by week’s end!
I just watched the new Sherlock. First off, loved it. Hilarious and brilliant. Second, after all of the episode’s possible scenarios for how Sherlock faked his death, I have one rather lovely idea about it.
Instead, there was no plan. He didn’t anticipate that Moriarty would do as he did, nor that he would put his friends in harm’s way. Instead, he had to jump, and hope that his friends would not be killed and that he would somehow survive the fall with Molly’s help.
Now wouldn’t that be a wonderful scene, when he tell’s that to John? He didn’t disclose why he had to fake his death (not only to dismantle Moriarty’s network, but to save John and the others from the assassins). Would it not be interesting if this was the one time that there was no plan, no perfect scheme, just one unplanned (mostly) act to save them? A leap of faith, if you will?
Probably not what happened, but someone should write a fic about it ;)
