I will have a longer post later but I just wanted to say that people who didn’t like the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch was Khan need to stop generalizing to the rest of us that we didn’t like him either. It is all well and good to have your opinion and not like it, but some of us, many of us, did. I for one loved him.
Also, stop assuming that because we loved his performance, we must be some hormone crazy sherlock loving teenagers who has never seen and so cant appreciate the original show or movies. I have loved Star Trek since I was little, am a minority, and though I love Benedict, I was a Star Trek and Khan fan before I knew who he was. So no, I didn’t love him just because I love him as an actor, no I didn’t love him in the role because I didn’t understand or appreciate the original and Ricardo, and yes I am a minority who doesn’t mind that he is white.

Norman Reedus Judas - Red Redemption
This is the second drawing in my Study In Red series, the first being the Sherlock Reichenback Fall picture (See it on my blog, and thanks to everyone for all the likes and reblogs!). Just a little bit of red in this one (the lipstick smear from the video). Mostly the series will be characters from different shows/movies/videos/etc, though I may throw in a couple of different types of subjects. I tagged Daryl Dixon as well, because I figured fans of him would appreciate this :)
I think I have decided on what the 3rd will be, but as always, I love suggestions and opinions!
Sherlock - A Study In Red
Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock from the latest episode. I decided to do a series of drawings incorporating red into the picture. This is the first. I have several ideas for ones to follow, but any suggestions are welcome! Please follow me to see the upcoming drawings from that series as I make them! :)
*EDIT* I retook the picture with better lighting - for whatever reason the old pic was much more washed out.
*EDIT 2* I have had some inquiries as to what picture I used. I actually didn’t use any one ref picture for this. I used several pictures of BC and made my own picture, and just made up the blood from a few pictures of The Reichenbach Fall. Thanks for all the questions, follows, and lovely compliments I have been getting! I truly appreciate it!

Tom Hiddleston - The Hollow Crown. Whipped this up yesterday. I don’t think any of us will disagree that this pic from The Hollow Crown is… well, sexy as fuck. So I drew it. Because it’s hot. Anyway, Tom Hiddleston is awesome. What do you think?
